Background
Small-vessel coronary disease and coronary bifurcation lesions are common complex percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) scenarios. Narrow vessels and branching anatomy can increase procedural difficulty, restenosis risk, and the challenges associated with long-term vessel management.
Drug-eluting stents remain the dominant treatment for many de novo coronary lesions. However, permanent metallic stents may create long-term implant burden, side-branch jailing, restenosis risk, thrombosis risk, and challenges for future reintervention.
For selected small-vessel and bifurcation lesions, a stent-free approach offers an important alternative by delivering anti-restenosis therapy without leaving a permanent implant behind.
Unmet Need
There is a need for vessel-preserving coronary drug-coated balloon therapy designed for selected de novo small-vessel and bifurcation lesions, especially where avoiding a permanent metallic implant provides procedural and long-term advantages.
DLong’s Solution
DLong MedTech delivers a vessel-preserving coronary drug-coated balloon platform for de novo small-vessel and bifurcation lesions. By providing targeted anti-restenosis therapy without leaving a permanent metallic implant, our solution enables effective stent-free treatment strategies and supports optimal outcomes in complex coronary anatomies.

Background
Chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) and pulmonary artery stenosis (PAS) can cause chronic narrowing or obstruction of the pulmonary arteries, leading to elevated pulmonary pressure, right-heart strain, and reduced quality of life.
Pulmonary endarterectomy (PEA) remains an important treatment option for eligible patients. However, some patients are unsuitable for surgery, while others may have residual or recurrent pulmonary artery obstruction after surgery. For these patients, balloon pulmonary angioplasty (BPA) has become an important interventional treatment option.
Despite this need, many pulmonary artery interventions still rely on balloon technologies adapted from coronary or peripheral vascular use. These devices may not be optimized for the distal, tortuous, and complex anatomy of the pulmonary arteries.
Unmet Need
There is a need for purpose-built pulmonary artery balloon technologies that support controlled lesion preparation, safer navigation, procedural consistency, and localized therapy for patients with CTEPH or PAS.
DLong’s Solution
DLong MedTech delivers a dedicated pulmonary artery balloon platform for CTEPH and pulmonary artery stenosis. Purpose-built for complex pulmonary artery intervention, our technologies enable controlled lesion preparation, precise navigation, and localized therapy where conventional adapted balloon technologies fall short.
